Swiss National Bank can carry out an intervention that would be able to limit the strengthening of the Swiss franc against the euro, which was due to lower interest rates by the ECB. This is stated in the report of news agency Bloomberg.  

Industrial production in the European countries of the currency bloc decreased by 0.3% by the end of June 2014 if compared with the May figure, however, it maintained its volumes in annual terms, after an increase by 0.6% during the previous month. This is stated in the report of the Eurostat experts. 

The Greek economy decreased by 0.2% in the second quarter of 2014 against the same period of 2013. This is stated in the report of the Statistical Office of Greece.
Reduction in the level of GDP is observed 24 consecutive quarters, but slowed considerably since the first quarter of this year, being less than experts had predicted.
